Astra Engineering carries out Project Management activities on behalf of public and private administrations. In particular, Astra is able to manage the process for the construction of public and private works, along the entire supply chain: from field surveys, to the project at any level (technical-economic feasibility project, final project, executive project) , to the interfacing with the interested Authorities for the purpose of issuing of the required permits, works management, coordination of safety both during the design and execution phases pursuant to D. Lgs. 81/08 and subsequent amendments, up to technical and administrative acceptance test.

The contribution of different professionals, the integration of technical, economic and financial skills, the large range of equipment for environmental and territorial surveys and the most up-to-date modeling and simulation software, also with the latest generation systems (BIM), allows Astra to deal with complex engineering problems.

The main areas of specialization are:

• Environmental engineering: protection and rehabilitation of the environment; reclamation of contaminated sites (also of national interest), including the planning of hydro-geological safeguarding interventions, taking care of landscape integration; management and mining in quarries; design of wastewater treatment plant; design of rainwater purification plants; environmental impact studies; environmental monitoring and controls;
• Civil and infrastructural engineering : project of new buildings and network infrastructure (water, sewage, electricity, etc.); design of structures of any type and material; renovation and redevelopment of buildings; energy redevelopment of buildings and plants, both for public and private clients; control and monitoring of structures and infrastructures;
• Geology, geotechnics and geomechanics: planning of geognostic and geophysical surveys; geotechnical controls and monitoring; laser scanner surveys; drone surveys;
• Plant engineering: civil and industrial plant design (electrical, water-sewer, air-conditioning, plants for energy production from FER).
